Click OK. Once you have enabled the sharing of a printer, you can add that printer to other PCs on the network so you can print from it. Click the Add a printer button on the toolbar. Can you access the server share on Windows Server file server via UNC name when this issue happens? If not, what is the exact error? Also, you may follow the steps to add the registry key on these Windows Vista boxes and then check if the issue will re-occur.

Join Date Jan Posts Most probable cause of such network related problems use to be Norton or any Symantec product, If you have any of Symantec software installed on your computer, just uninstall it because it is well known to create such network related problems in windows, especially in Vista. Once removed, see if your Sharing Tab is back.
