But even with this much story, they do it very well. It's not just dumped out; the OVA feels like another world they've traveled to, except that the events that happen here are much more related to the overarching storyline. They're back, and even better.

The main characters' personalities remain pretty much the same, which is good, and the new characters of the world are well designed and fairly non-stereotypical. The main characters get the most screentime, but it doesn't feel like you're neglecting any of the world's characters as well, who contribute nicely.

Also, believe it or not, there's a bit of drama. Nothing lacking in this department, that's for sure. Not that it's bad standalone, but I don't think you could fully enjoy the wonderfulness of Sakura's fight near the end of the anime if you haven't watched a good deal of TRC and grown to love the characters a bit.

I have to take a bit off of enjoyment because the ending isn't a solid closure, but there's no way they could have closed up all the story in 3 episodes, not to mention it takes place in the middle of the 2nd season after the library arc. Anyways, becuase of that I'm downloading all the manga for TRC, so maybe it's a good thing. They haven't changed anything majorly from the first two seasons, and really, the only thing that could have topped something like this is a whole 'nother 26 episode season of this quality.
