Metro board game

If a metro line crosses a tile more than once , then the player scores 1 point for every time that line crosses the tile. If a line ends at one of the central stations, the points for that line are doubled. For example: In the image below, the yellow player scores 19 points on station Remember tracks can finish at any station, this one just happens to loop back to itself.

Initially the game asks for the number of players and the relative number of AI players they want. For example, if we enter some wrong values like the figure given below, then it will raise an appropriate error message. The same is applied for the next box for the number of computer component. If the User wants to quit the game before starting the game, then a confirmation box appears to confirm this decision.

Based on the number of players, it allocates the station numbers as seen in the rules. On the bottom side, we have the scores updating after each move for each player.

There is a button at the end to end the game in between without wait for all the tile to be over. On the Left side is the board itself. The player can pick and drag the tile across the board. If the location is valid for that tile placement, then the block appears green in color. If the players tries to place the tile on any location where the tile cannot be placed according to the rules then the game shows an error message. A player can pick up a tile and move another tile from the top of deck.

This can be done with the help of the button Pick Up Tile. The scores for each player is updated with every move that is made. This helps in keeping track of each players score in real time. The players can also finish the game prior to its ending with the help of Finish Game button at the end.

When they press the Finish Game button then the Final Score screen apprears with the winners name and the scores for all players. Finally, on a small screen with older eyes, it can be difficult to trace tracks especially from yellow stations. An option to have the game color in routes in progress might make gameplay easier in terms of strategy boo!

When I set the game up, it took me to a screen where all the players are listed on one side. The other side is blank. There is no way to leave this screen. No Start button. Just a frozen screen. So I went to the Menu, then restarted the game. Same thing as before. So I tried the Menu, then Help. I got the first Help screen.

But again the game froze. There is no way to proceed from that first Help screen. And the Menu stopped responding. Privacy practices may vary, for example, based on the features you use or your age.

Each station has two tracks. The players must place their subway cars on the right side of the Metro station the side with no roof. This track is the one by which subway cars can leave the station, while the other track the one with a roof indicates the end of a Metro line.

In the center of the gameboard are 8 Metro stations. The player who manages to connect one of his Metro lines to one of these stations doubles the winning points scored by that line. Then, each player takes the pawn in his color and places it on the "0" square of the points track. Each player takes the "Metro Line" card that matches his color.

On it are printed the names and numbers of the Metro stations that belong to that particular player, which will depend on the number of players in the game. Now, each player places a subway car in his color on the outgoing track in each station that he owns. Extra subway cars are returned to the box and will not be used during play. This is the track pool. Each player picks up one tile and looks at it. Each player takes a turn laying down a "Track" tile on the gameboard.
